Check out the acrobatics on display at this Dununba in Conakry, Guinea (West Africa). The djembe soloist is Boka.
Dununba, traditionally, was an initiation ritual for young men wishing to enter adulthood. Today, this rhythm is danced in a variety of settings, including as a neighborhood party.

Adama Coulibaly on Donso n'goni accompanied by jembe and soku. The Donso n'goni is an 8-stringed lute from the Wassoulou region of Mali. Donso n'goni means "hunter's harp" in the Bamana language. The soku is a one-stringed fiddle that is made from a small calabash covered with lizard skin, whose string and bow are affixed with horsehair. Soku means "horsehair" in Bamana.

Baga Fote, a group of young musicians and artists from Guinea West Africa, performs in the capital city of Conakry. Like many ballets, the group combines Malinke instruments such as Djembe and Balafon with Susu instruments such as Bote.
